Anna Backman Contemporary Jewellery

Black freshwater pearl and Silver Bracelet

Anna is inspired by ecclesiastical architecture, new and old, with a particular emphasis on Victorian Gothic style. She likes to capture the linear qualities within the artchitecture and reproduce them in delicate intricate pieces.

Working in sterling silver often highlighted with oxidised elements and occasional accents in gold and gemstones.

Anna's work is unique and very wearable - some pieces have moving parts to further create the illusion of movement and a sense of fun.

Anna is now a member of the Society of Design Craftsmen (MSDC).
