Three amazing mosaic birds have arrived at Dotty Gallery. Designed and made by Fiona Gurney of Box of Frogs Mosaics, these beautiful mosaics each measure 35cm square and are for sale at £125 each. The three subjects are 'Stony Crow', 'Little Wren' and 'Golden Thrush'.
Daisy Fawcett plates/platters and bowls have been reduced by 25% at Dotty Gallery - a great offer for the New Year. Each piece is totally unique, made and decorated by hand in Daisy's Burton Overy studio.
Dotty Gallery will be open until 6pm on Christmas Eve, re-opening at mid-day on 2nd January 2014.
Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year to everyone! Thank you all for your support during these first tentative weeks of my new business. I'm very much looking forward to seeking out new ideas, artists and designs and sharing them with you next year.
I have just four pieces of the handmade Acorn collection from Charlie High Design, a pair of stud earrings, a one cup ring, a two cup ring and a bangle. They really have to be seen to appreciate them fully - they're so different.
Some beautiful new pieces of Daisy's work are now on sale at Dotty Gallery. All of Daisy's work is made using British Terracotta clay, are made and decorated by hand, either by throwing on a wheel or press moulding using her own 'one off' designed handmade moulds. Each piece is completley unique and signed.
Well after opening just over two weeks ago, Dotty Gallery now has an even larger selection of beautiful silver jewellery, original art and some stunning gifts and cards. The Robyn Coetzee handmade glass birds have almost sold out (just three left) but the shelves have been replenished with handmade felted items (including the most amazing baby booties), vibrant wool, silk and linen scarves, handturned wooden snowmen and Daisy Fawcett ceramics. There's no need to head into town for your Christmas shopping, simply pop into Dotty's and take your time browsing with a coffee. Dotty is open 12 - 6pm Tuesday - Saturday and 1 - 4pm on Sundays (closed on Mondays).
This weekend saw the opening of Dotty Gallery. No well known celebrities or official bigwigs were present (or invited), but lots of lovely people turned up to help me celebrate. It was so encouraging to hear such fantastic feedback about the gallery itself and the fact that there were so many sales of jewellery, ceramics and gifts would suggest that I have some very desirable 'stuff' on my shelves! Phew ...
Dotty Gallery will open it's doors (well door!) this weekend and you are invited to join Lesley for a glass of sparkly between 12-6pm on Saturday 16th and 12 - 4pm on Sunday 17th to celebrate. If you can't make it this weekend, generally Dotty will be open Tuesday to Saturday 12 - 6pm and Sunday's 1- 4pm (closed on Mondays). Look forward to seeing you!
A beautiful range of handmade silver jewellery has arrived in Twyford direct from Kathryn Williamson, a silversmith based in Pittenweem in Scotland. Many of Kathryn's design include dots, so an obvious favourite for the Dotty Gallery !
