Join wildlife artist Liz McLelland and make your very own sleepy ceramic hare. Suitable for complete beginners or improvers, Liz will talk you through the process and teach you how to use observation and wildlife appreciation skills to breathe life into the clay. You’ll learn a variety of hand building and sculpting techniques and finish the course with your very own characterful hare. Liz will take your finished piece home to bisque fire and will finish it with oxides and glazes before a final firing – your finished work of art will be ready to collect around 6 weeks later.
