In this workshop you will be taught how to build the body of an owl by pinch pot and coiling techniques. We will then create the plumage using impression and addition of clay. The wings, feet, beak, eyes and head feathers will be modelled separately and attached. Jennifer will then dry and bisque fire each piece and decorate using underglaze and wipe back to highlight the features. Your owl then be fired again to stoneware temperature 1250’C and will be ready to collect from Dotty in four weeks.
