There is something so appealing about a seated hare with its upturned nose and serene expression.
In this workshop you will create your own hare to sit quietly watching the sky. Step by step I will show you how to hand build a hollow form and press it out to give volume. We will add a head with large lidded eyes, a twitchy nose and long ears. We will complete the sculpture with delicate front paws and large hind legs and a bob tail. Once complete I will slowly dry your hare and then bisque fire it. I will then finish the piece using oxides, glazes and underglazes. It will then be fired a second time and so will be ready for collection from May 16th onwards.
